I hope you and your honey are celebrating a frugal Valentine's Day full of love and laughter. This year GJS and I budgeted a nice date night. He is in charge of the execution. I came up with the idea. We'll see how it all pans out but my hopes are high. I created a pinterest board for my perfect French inspired date. http://pinterest.com/ginamae80/perfect-date-night/ I've already been told that the movie Cyrano De Bergerac and petit fours were too illusive in our neck of the woods, so those are off the table. Though I know at the bare minimum, we'll be eating some yummy vittles tonight.
It is a rare day that I am not concerned with the budget, but today is that day. I'm just excited to see what GJS has in store and I know he stayed within the budget, thanks to mint.com. I'm going to kick back, relax and enjoy a little romance and quality time with my handsome husband. Happy Valentine's Day all :)
We cooked at home as a family: steak, scallops, mashed potatoes, salad, and a french loaf. Much cheaper and less crowded
